Moon Salutations Workshop

Yoga Loft

Hatha Yoga aims to integrate the body’s solar and lunar energies. Chandra Namaskar, or Moon Salutation, is a powerful yoga sequence that taps into the divine feminine and utilizes circular movements to find freedom in ritual. Practicing sun salutations, Surya Namaskar, builds heat, while moon salutations work to soothe and cool the body.

Chelsea Mandrigues will breakdown each of the postures that create the moon salutation flow, synchronizing breath with movement, and exploring alignment within the body before moving into the meditative flow of the salutation. In the essence of Chandra Namaskar, class will finish with an empowering meditation laden with intention.

This workshop is for both beginners who want to become familiar with the details of Moon Salutations and yogis with an established practice who want to deepen their Chandra Namaskar.

Free your body from linear patterns and activate your creative potential on the mat!

Goddess Rising: Full Moon Candlelit Flow (Women Only)

Join the Yoga Loft’s Chelsea Mandrigues for this special class* honoring the full moon, and this time of releasing what no longer serves you, in order to recharge your divine energy.

Laden with intention, this 2 hour candlelit yoga class honors the rising goddess. Practitioners will delve within traditional hatha moon salutations, coupled by a releasing yin practice, and an empowering meditation that will leave you refreshed and awakened.

1 Hour and 15 Minute ALL LEVELS Yoga Class

45 Minute Guided Meditation

*This event is for women only.

*Please note that this class is not included in monthly unlimited or class package rates, and is $18 for all practitioners.

Earth Day Beach Clean-Up & Sunset Yoga

Ringing in Earth Day how we yogis know best!

Seva, Yoga, & Community Support thanks to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful!

On April 21st we will meet at Picnic Island Park to give back to our beautiful Tampa Bay community with this beach and park clean-up!

Seva: Clean-up will be from 4:30-6:30pm
Sunset Yoga: All level & free yoga will be gifted from 6:45-7:30pm

☆☆☆Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful provided 12 pairs of cloth gloves, trash bags, and a bucket!!! Feel free to bring any of your own supplies as well!
☆☆☆ BRING: close-toe shoes (water shoes is a plus!), sunscreen, comfortable clothing, a beach towel for yoga, and water!
☆☆☆Water & Fruit will be provided
☆☆☆Bathrooms and free parking on site
☆☆☆Check back for a map of the location before Saturday

Introduction to Inversions and Arm Balances

Join Asana Yoga’s Chelsea Mandrigues in a workshop designed to honor the body and explore the edge for all levels of practitioners seeking to deepen their inversion and arm balance practice through fundamental strength and flexibility.

Together we will empower ourselves as we navigate the art of arm balancing and inversions in a practice that is guaranteed to flip your perspective!

We will keep it light as we take flight, and build a concrete foundation in transition and flow, bandhas and pranayama (breath work), and develop the tool kit necessary to cultivate a more mindful practice.

Be prepared to face your F.E.A.R. (False Evidence Appearing Real) and soar past your own expectations as you defy gravity and take flight!

This workshop is $20 early bird special through January 15, 2018 or $25 after the 15th. Space is limited to 12 participants.

The Art of Seva: Evolving Compassion into Action through Yoga

When we pinpoint the convergence of compassion with positive action, lives really do change. Together we will learn how to unlock our spoken truth through the art of Seva, in order to empower not only ourselves, but everyone around us.

Learn how to take your yoga off the mat and into the world through this empowering workshop on the practice of Seva, or selfless service. This workshop is open to ALL levels of yoga practitioners and positive healing advocates within the community.

During this workshop, the Yoga Loft’s, Chelsea Mandrigues, will lead you through an empowering yoga flow, designed to ground intention and unlock your inner warrior. Modifications will be provided for all levels.

Participants will garner a better understanding of Seva’s place in the practice of self-care, and personal healing, so that emotional intelligence becomes the foundation for selfless service. Discussion will be had after class on key topics within the community, as well as how to become more involved in local community and human rights initiatives.

All participants will receive the tools necessary to feel equipped to lead their own Seva project within their community.

Calling all Ghouls & Goblins, A wicked good time is in store for all the brave souls who enter our doors!

Join Chelsea Mandrigues for a spooky Flow II class at the haunted Yoga Loft of Tampa. Be prepared to GLOW and FLOW through the night under blacklights in an intermediate/advanced flow designed to honor the body and explore the edge.

Creepin’ it real in Ybor fashion, all yogi’s are welcome to top off the night with a cackling cauldron or witches brew-ha-ha as we monster mash our way to the local Dirty Shame pub after class! We have reserved the outdoor patio for our Trick or Treating Pleasure from 6-10pm.

Come dressed to impress in your yoga friendly costume! Encouraged, but not required. Body paint and glow sticks will be provided.

Chelsea Mandrigues from Human Empowered Yoga and Michelle Dantas (personal trainer) founded Fit 4 Cause Tampa, a community-based fitness platform that promotes community engagement, affordable yoga and fitness classes, and self-empowerment! Each class is only a $5 donation and encourages students to bring food donations that will be given to local organizations assisting Tampa's homeless population.

8th annual suicide awareness ride & event

Each year, over 42,000 Americans take their own lives. The reverberation from every impact echoes within each family member, friend, and loved one.

You are not alone.

On Sunday, 11/13, the Street Thunder Cats Motorcycle Club & Suncoast Yellow Ribbon will be teaming up to support Suicide Awareness and Prevention!

Chelsea Mandrigues will be there as a resource for the mental health benefits of yoga and meditation, teaching 30 minute yoga demos emphasizing inner strength and resiliency.
